As someone who has studied media for 4 years now, I aspire to build my experience and one day work in the field. I enjoy filming and photography, alongside editing too, whether it be a short film, documentary, music video or even an advert. However, something I have found to be especially passionate about is concert photography and videography, as it combines my love for media with my love for live music.

I studied digital media at GCSE and received a Distinction* - many of my videos that helped me achieve this grade are featured on this portfolio. To achieve a distinction*, I completed a storyboarding exam, writing an in depth plan for a documentary based off of a brief, alongside filming and editing said documentary.  I thoroughly enjoyed studying this topic at GCSE level, which encouraged me to take it further, studying it at College too.

I've worked on many short films, including 2 psychological thrillers, and film trailers including a sci-fi adventure, and a revamp of the movie Zootropolis, but transformed into the horror genre. Additionally, I have further experience in making documentaries, including a documentary on diversity around London, and the benefits of volunteering for young people. 

During my time at College, I had been given the incredible opportunity to gain experience in a variety of different Media sectors, such as Sound and Foley, Cinematography, Advertising, Special and visuals effects and more. I talk more about what knowledge this has give me in my experience page.

I aspire to continue with my passion for Media, and study it/work for it in the future. Currently, I am doing an unpaid internship with Parity for Disability, where I am working as a social media intern. I get content of the students having fun in their every day lives, alongside working with a student who aspires to be a journalist, and we are currently making a documentary.
